| To meet the growing demand for voice over IP (VoIP) and wireless device access, Mobile Action today announces to launch Handset Manager MA-720, a new version of its Bluetooth data suite to link your cellular handset to your PC, with faster data transfer capability and a new design. The MA-720 offers superior device access than previous versions and provides a single platform for all Bluetooth-enabled Mobile Action Handset Manager models.
Mobile Action is one of few developers with the capability to develop a Bluetooth communication protocol stack driver for cellular applications, so the transmission capability of MA-720 is not only better than Mobile Action's previous MA-700 version, but it is better than most mobile phone manufacturer's integrated Bluetooth capability. For example, the MA-720 has been tested to deliver 10-percent faster data transfer rates on Motorola cellular handsets.
The new Handset Manager MA-720 supports any PC's Bluetooth peripherals (HIDs, Human Input Devices), such as a Bluetooth keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse. To meet the needs of VoIP users, the MA-720 also supports wireless applications and devices such as MSN Messenger or Skype and Bluetooth headsets. In addition, the MA-720 dongle's driver supports Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 providing more options for users.
"The MA-720 is simply faster and more convenient for users", says Fitzwilliam Yang, the brand manager of Mobile Action. "With Handset Manager version 9, and new features like MP3 Clipper and Video Composer, users can use MA-720 and hence enjoy the convenience of wireless living more than ever."
The MA-720 is now packaged as an ivory white Bluetooth dongle to replace the previous dark blue design, with accompanying software. The price for Handset Manager MA-720 remains unchanged at $54.95 (U.S.).
Handset Manager version 9.0 already supports 20 languages and more than 80 GSM, CDMA and 3G phone models. The MA-720 Bluetooth Data Suite now supports more than 60 phone models. Users can visit Mobile Action's worldwide web site, www.mobileaction.com, to check the latest supported phone models and download the latest software versions. Mobile Action will continue to develop new drivers for Handset Manager and MA-720 to support more phone models and Mobile Action will continue to develop more powerful features to meet the rapid growing number of phone models and mobile user's expanding needs for business and entertainment.
