Latest Release of Handset Manager Now Brings MP3 and Photo's Editing and Sharing, Video Composer and Synchronization Capabilities to Popular Handsets
WALNUT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 28, 2006--Mobile Action (http://usa.mobileaction.com), a global leader in mobile management software, today announced that the company has added 50 new mobile phone models from LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sanyo, SonyEricsson, and Audiovox to the list of cellular handsets that now support Handset Manager 9.2, the newest version of the company's popular handset-to-PC data sharing solution. With these new phones, Handset Manager 9.2 now supports more than 60 handsets from major North American carriers, including Cingular, Sprint, Metro, Verizon, AllTel, T-Mobile, and Rogers Telecom.
Handset Manager 9.2 includes an MP3 audio clipper and editor, and a video composer that enables users to create and share music and movie files between laptops or PCs and mobile phones. Users also can create, cut and mix their favorite MP3 files and video clips to produce ring tones and short films for multimedia-ready mobile phones. Furthermore, Music Manager, one of the new features added to Handset Manager 9.2, allows users to move music from their PCs to cellular phones, create playlists, and more, similar to the way users use iTune to manage iPod's music.

For example, the new video composer feature allows users to add and edit text, graphics or animation, select windows, or zoom in and zoom out of images. Users also can record short films with their phones, receive films via MMS or Internet downloads from carriers, and use their PCs to edit and share them.
